Every student enrolled in The Academy receives a free private education, childcare before and after school, and frequent field trips. We offer students a strong academic curriculum with a life skills emphasis that follows the Virginia Standards of Learning but focuses on hands on learning that is engaging and fun!

To support our parents, The Academy provides Family Coaching that connects parents to valuable local resources including personal finance classes and vocational training opportunities to support each family as they work to achieve their personal goals. We also offer parents onsite childcare and a summer program that provides a safe environment that encourages learning and keeps students engaged when school is not in session with frequent field trips, fun activities like swimming and skating and engaging opportunities like visiting a farm to pet animals and learn about agriculture or meeting the Virginia Tech Entomology Department to learn about bugs!
