Why Choose The Academy
The Academy is a tuition free private school located in Roanoke City. The Academy serves low income children and families throughout the Roanoke Valley. We have classrooms for grades Kindergarten through 5th grade and growing!
Every student enrolled in The Academy receives a free private education, free childcare before and after school and three hot meals each day. The Academy offers a strong academic curriculum with a life skills emphasis that follows the Virginia Standards of Learning.
We believe that in order for children to be successful, their parents must be invested in their lives and engaged in their education. To support our parents, The Academy provides valuable resources including personal finance classes, vocational training opportunities and family coaches to help each family achieve their personal goals.
